Kalbarri Offshore Adventures is a true family business helmed by young skipper Mark, a third generation commercial lobster fisherman who is still commercially fishing off this vessel.
Mark’s grandfather Allan Ralph began lobster fishing in the 1940s from Kalbarri. His son David joined him at the age of 14. While David worked on the commercial lobster fishing vessel, Wiakiri in the 80s he also did charter work providing fishing and sunset cruises in Kalbarri. Mark joined his dad David and skippered many of the family vessels including Miss Murchison, Queen of Pease and Rising Moon.
With his son Bailey joining the family business after completing his Marine Science Diploma, Master 5, and marine engineering driver grade 2. Kalbarri Offshore Adventures allows us to share our family history, knowledge of the lobster industry, fishing industry, and Kalbarri’s attractions.
Our family has enjoyed fishing Kalbarri waters since the 1940s and we cant wait to share them with you.
